1952 - Learn About the Language Movement

The "1952" app is a new way for people to learn about what happened in the Language Movement of 21st FebruaryOn this day, Salam, Barkat, Rafiq, Jabbar, and many others sacrificed their lives for our language. The Shaheed Minar was erected in remembrance of them. Later, on 17th November 1999, UNESCO declared 21st February as the International Mother Language Day.

To use the "1952" app, simply tap on the "Start" button and point your camera at the Shaheed Minar on the 2 taka note.

The aim of this app is to educate and inspire our generation to learn more about the achievements and glory of our Language Martyrs inThrough the use of the "1952" app, we hope that people will gain a deeper understanding of the history of 21st February 1952 and the significance of the International Mother Language Day.
